Thanks Donovan, I have really appreciated having you as my coach these past 2 months as I struggled with my Master’s degree thesis. I had the occasion to be supported by Donovan through a non-directive and extremely supportive coaching partnership, which complemented the partnership I was in with my business Mentor. Before my coaching sessions with Don I as very unfocussed and uncommitted to myself. I found it hard to motivate myself to even decide what I wanted in my life, let alone how to go about getting it. Being coached by Don has helped me to gain some confidence in moving forward. He has helped me to sharpen my focus by homing in on specific goals and clear deadlines. This was something I really struggled to do before now.
In gaining this clarity, I feel quite strong and enthused about my life, this was not in me before.
I assumed that my coaching experience was going to be difficult and then perhaps result in nothing. Don’s coaching style made me relaxed and trusting. I have never been this challenged in my life before, it’s been the second hardest thing I have done in 43 years (giving birth to my son, the hardest), but the rewards have been great.
